GJ Burgos promote an innovative, and well structure training system using S.M.A.R.T. Basketball Development method. He builds and develop a basketball player from toes to head, always beginning on footwork and ending on Basketball IQ. It is a back to basic approach where basketball players challenge their potential in order to exceed their limits and improve their performance. His philosophy provides a strategic approach founded over 5 major disciplines: athleticism, skills development, tactical coaching, Basketball IQ and mental coaching. Train and practice are never close to perfection, but to excellence. That’s way he promotes: Purpose-Focus-Success.

A Master in Skills and a Basketball Player Artist. Started his professional career at his early 15 years, becoming part of the Puerto Rico Basketball Junior National Team. He also was granted as the regular Point Guard for one of the teams of the Professional Basketball League (BSN) in Puerto Rico for 9 consecutive years. GJ Burgos has been working for the last 6 years with college (Division I) and Professional players (Puerto Rico & Latin America Territory) to develop, improve and enhance their performance and game statistics. He train what he teaches. That’s why he is a mentor for his trainees. Today, he is consider #1 Basketball Development Trainer in Puerto Rico. He is a well recognize top trainer for some of the Spanish speaking territories in Latin America. Territories like Puerto Rico, Panama, Venezuela and Dominican Republic are some of the countries that he is supporting to improve better athletes. Basketball is his passion and every player becomes one of his unique art piece. His teammates, Alan Stain and Ryan Goodson, has join him twice this year in Puerto Rico to improve Basketball to the Next Level for the Caribbean Island.
